What is screen printing anyway?
Screen printing, sometimes called silk screen printing, is the process of pressing ink through a stenciled mesh screen to create a printed design. Each color in your artwork requires a different screen to complete the final design. At Elevated Impressions our process is 100% by hand, nothing is automated. We hand pull every print in your order! This ensures that every product that leaves our shop is held to our highest standards.
Factors that affect pricing
- Type of garment/textile
- Quantity of garments/textile
- Number of colors in your artwork
- Number of locations you want your artwork placed
Expenses not typically included in in the price of your printed garment:
- Screen Set up fees ($20 per screen, per color)
- Ink change fees ($15 per color)
- Graphic Design fees ($40/hr)
- Specialty inks and/or additives
Some things to be aware of…
- We require upfront, payment in full before we can start working on your project.
- Turnaround time is generally 2 weeks from the time that you place your order.
- Quantity discounts start at 50 pieces. Remember, as your order quantity increases, your per piece price decreases!
- Order Minimums. This can be a combination of different sizes, colors and styles.
- 25 Pieces for a 1-2 color design
- 35 Pieces for a 3 color design
- 50 Pieces for a 4 color design
- 60 Pieces for a 5-6 color design
